Starting January 1st, 2011, Medicare is phasing in a new competitive bidding program in some areas of the country. This program changes the way Medicare pays providers for mail order Diabetic Supplies and also changes who can supply these items.

These suppliers had to meet stringent Medicare quality and financial standards and had to submit a successful bid.

If you don’t use a contract supplier, Medicare won’t pay for your supplies and you will have to pay for them out of pocket. • Riverside – San Bernardino – Ontario (California)
